All of the tours are walking tours however Giovanni can arrange for a professional driver for the tour if one is requested. There are
3 tours to choose from, it is possible to add additional sites that
you may like to see to any of the tours listed below. Giovanni will
conduct the tours in either Italian or English. Vatican tour: A walking tour which will last approximately 3 hours. The sites included are: St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museum including the Sistine Chapel. If you
would be interested in attending the Pope's audience (held every Wednesday)
please ask Giovanni to reserve tickets prior to your arrival in Italy
as this is a popular destination. Baroque Rome tour: A walking tour that will last approximately 4-5 hours and consists of the following sites: Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the Piazza di Spagna (includes the Spanish Steps). If you
would like to see an additional site on this tour you should not miss
the Church of S. Ignazio where famous frescos can be seen. Imperial Rome tour: A walking tour which is a minimum of 3 hours maximum of 5. This tour includes the following sites: Imperial Forum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Capitoline Hill, Piazza Venezia, and the Colosseum. Additional
sites you shouldn't miss: Domus Aurea:
"the golden House of Nero" known for it's roman- imperial
stylefresco's. Giovanni can reserve these tickets in advance for you.
Catacombs of San Callisto, San Sebastiano, and Santa Domitilla on the
ancient Appian way. Time flies and it is the tour's end... and all to soon it is time to stop for a special dinner, or sip a great Italian wine or a delicious hot chocolate found near the Spanish Steps..or to buy a gelato and walk the famous Via Condotti accompanied by quick "shopping tips" from Giovanni before he bids you good-bye until another day. Now you are on your own to drink in the entire day.
